Truck tolls & charges

Know where to check before you choose a lane. Open truck-specific calculators, official toll schedules and state authority resources at the source.

Estimates and posted rates · No live toll quote connected

Drive-Diva.com does not retrieve toll prices or final charges. Calculators estimate a trip; posted schedules show rates for a vehicle class and effective date. Neither guarantees your final bill. Confirm the charge with the toll operator or your transponder account after travel.

These selected resources do not cover every U.S. toll road. Links leave Drive-Diva.com and open an external site in a new tab.

Check the toll operator

Use the operator’s vehicle rules and schedule for the roads you will actually travel.

Official route calculator

Pennsylvania Turnpike

External source: paturnpike.com

Calculate a PA Turnpike trip for commercial vehicles, including 5-axle semis and configurations up to 8 axles. Compare E-ZPass and Toll By Plate.

Have ready
Entry and exit or start/end locations, axle count, low/high vehicle profile, cargo details and payment method.
Coverage & limits
PA Turnpike and its extensions only. Calculate each leg separately when exiting and re-entering; check the date used for the toll.

Official route calculator

New York State Thruway

External source: tollcalculator.thruway.ny.gov

Use the Thruway Toll and Distance Calculator for a commercial-truck trip. Choose “All other vehicles” to select the appropriate truck class.

Have ready
Entry and exit, total axles including trailers, height over the first two axles, and applicable E-ZPass or toll-by-mail option.
Coverage & limits
Thruway system only, not every New York road or bridge. Confirm the vehicle class and tag issuer; discount eligibility varies.

Official posted schedules

Illinois Tollway

External source: agency.illinoistollway.com

Check the Truck rates and commercial rate schedules by toll plaza. The large commercial category covers vehicles with 5 or more axles.

Have ready
Tollway and plazas on your route, axle/tire category, daytime or overnight travel, and I-PASS or online payment option.
Coverage & limits
Illinois Tollway facilities only. Select the schedule effective on your travel date; a posted plaza rate is not a complete route quote.

Official express-lane information

Georgia · State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA)

External source: srta.ga.gov

SRTA’s overview of the tolled express lanes alongside metro Atlanta interstates, with links to individual corridors and Peach Pass information.

Commercial-truck eligibility
Restricted — tractor-trailer trucks and vehicles with trailers are not allowed in Georgia’s Express Lanes. Peach Pass permits vehicles with 2 axles and 6 wheels or fewer; vehicles exceeding either limit are prohibited except over-the-road buses. A toll pass does not make a semi eligible.
Have ready
Specific corridor, vehicle axle and wheel count, and current operator eligibility rules before considering lane access.
Coverage & limits
Express-lane information, not a semi-truck route recommendation or a Georgia-wide toll schedule. Confirm current corridor rules through SRTA’s official Peach Pass resources.

Official toll information & system maps

Florida · Florida’s Turnpike

External source: floridasturnpike.com

Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise explains toll payment methods and links to its official rate resources. The system maps page provides Turnpike and regional facility maps.

Commercial-truck eligibility
Facility-specific — the official toll guidance accounts for vehicle axle count, but it does not confirm every road or lane is legal for your commercial truck. Turnpike Thru Lanes exclude vehicles with 3 or more axles, apart from specified bus/vanpool exceptions; multi-axle semis cannot use them. Confirm truck restrictions with the relevant operator before travel.
Have ready
Route, entry and exit, all tractor/trailer axles, travel date, and SunPass, interoperable transponder or TOLL-BY-PLATE payment method. Tolls vary by axles, route and payment.
Coverage & limits
Turnpike toll guidance and system maps are not universal Florida toll coverage or truck-clearance maps. Check each facility’s vehicle rules and effective schedule; no final charge is supplied here.

Official toll-road & operator directory

Texas · Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)

External source: txdot.gov

TxDOT lists Texas toll operators, their regions and roads, and the billing agency for each. Follow the directory’s official operator links for the facility on your route.

Commercial-truck eligibility
Not confirmed by this directory — it does not establish heavy-truck eligibility for each listed road or managed lane. Check the relevant operator’s official vehicle restrictions before routing a semi; a listing or accepted toll tag does not establish permission to use a facility.
Have ready
Exact toll road or managed lane, operator and billing agency, truck axle count, dimensions/weight, travel date and payment method.
Coverage & limits
Texas has multiple operators with separate business rules, billing practices and toll rates. This directory is not a statewide truck toll quote or a truck-routing approval.

Official statewide resources & regional toll support

California · Toll roads, bridges & express lanes

External sources: dot.ca.gov · fastrak.org · regional toll agencies

Caltrans links to California toll schedules, and the California Toll Operators Committee lists regional agencies and their facilities. FasTrak accounts can pay tolls throughout California, but each issuing agency has its own account rules. There is no single statewide toll customer-service number in these directories; use your account issuer or the operator named on your toll notice.

Commercial-truck eligibility
Facility-specific — accepting FasTrak does not establish truck eligibility. Confirm axle, trailer, weight, height and express-lane restrictions with the operator before routing a commercial truck.
Have ready
Exact bridge, toll road or express lane, entry/exit and direction, travel date, tractor/trailer axle count, vehicle dimensions and weight, account issuer, and any invoice or violation number.
Coverage & limits
Selected California toll-support contacts, not a statewide truck toll quote or route approval. Bay Area FasTrak handles toll payments for the seven state-owned Bay Area toll bridges and the separately operated Golden Gate Bridge. Southern California toll roads and express lanes have distinct support services; match the facility and county before calling.

Third-party route estimate

TollGuru truck calculator

Compare toll estimates for a multi-stop route with truck configurations from 2–9 axles. Supports departure-time and toll-tag options.

External source: tollguru.com

Have ready
Origin, destination, stops, truck axle type, departure time and toll tag. Supply dimensions, weight and cargo restrictions where the tool requests them.
Coverage & limits
A third-party planning estimate, not an operator-issued final charge. Verify coverage for your route and confirm against each operator. Provider access limits or paid features may apply.

Source pages checked October 29, 2026. Providers may change tools, rates and access requirements. Review the effective date on the source site before travel.
